Meeting with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem

Our meeting with Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was extremely positive and spiritual. We have found , throughout our travels that we have been privileged to meet wonderful spiritual leaders. We felt this sense of devotion also with the Mufti. We discussed the notion that  Islam, as a religion, has been defiled by the acts of a few  and how these acts of violence are absolutely forbidden in the Holy Qu'ran. PTWF will be meeting with the Mufti again to try to enable those Muslims, who oppose violence and it's illegal justification in Islam, to spread this  positive message through the international media.

We also discussed the new WASATIA initiative for peace in the Holy Land. This organization is taking a real position on creating a genuine peace between Palestine and the State of Israel by genuinely respecting the Israeli right to exist in peace. WASATIA concentrates its efforts on building an infrastructure based on the true message of Islam devoid of corruption and extremists activity

Below we gave the Mufti the book of the principles of WASATIA. Mohammed and Munther Dajani, founders of WASATIA, are concentrating their efforts on educating young Palestinians to tolerance
